An RRCA Certified Coach, Cat lives in Ft. Lauderdale and works as a teacher for Broward County. She began RaceWalking in high school and it became a way of life. Since that time, Cat has completed numerous RaceWalk and Running events. Cat joined Friends in Training in 2006. FIT Group: A Years of Walking: Too many to count! First marathon: Disney 1996 Favorite Race: Hmmn… there’s Tao and Big Sur for the scenery, the Friends In Training Events for the camaraderie, but I’ll have to go with the Fox City Marathon in Wisconsin because my mom came with me… but wait, in Kansas, they supported the runners from horseback, and the Bataan Memorial Death March was incredibly moving… I can’t pick one.
